High Performance Computing and Application

In the past few years, high performance computing have been utilized to accelerate the research domains including: image processing, molecular dynamics, astrophysics, financial simulation, computer tomography, quantum chemistry, bioinformatics and many others. Especially, General Purpose Graphic Process Units (GPGPUs) becomes popular to lot of scientific computing domains. Leveraging computing power of GPGPUs, the computational cost of many applications is able to significantly be decreased.

The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss and share their research and development experiences and outputs on the massively parallel GPU platforms, multi-core system, optimization techniques, deep learning, parallel algorithm design, applications, bioinformatics and all kinds of successful applications.

EMCA seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics:

Hardware Platforms for High Performance Computing
Software Framework for High Performance Computing
Performance Modeling and Benchmarking
Applications with GPU Implementation
Parallel Algorithm of High Performance Computing
Power-aware system for High Performance Computing

We invite you to submit papers with unpublished, original research describing recent advances on the areas related to this workshop. All papers will undergo peer review by the conference program committee. All papers accepted will be included in the Workshop Proceedings

Paper Submission:

All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference website ( https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=hpca2019) with PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages including figures and references using Springer CCIS Manuscripts style . You can confirm the Springer CCIS Author Guidelines at the following web page: https://www.springer.com/gp/computerscience/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines. Please submit your paper through for HPCA 2019.

Publication:

Papers accepted for this workshop will be published by the Workshop Proceedings.
