The exams and the rules
3 grades:
1. Midterm exam: written exam, test during the class, 1 hour (13:10-14:00) on April 23. Exam questions about the writers and books studied since September 23 (short biography of the writers, information about the books and vocabulary). Be careful, this exam is about memorizing important information. It is easy to have a very good...or a very bad grade depending on your learning attitude.
2. Oral exam: you can choose between role playing or making a short movie or making a speech with Power Point. Beginning: March 05
a. Oral exam: role playing. 2 to 4 students per group, 2 groups per week. Each group has 15 minutes. Dialogue between 2 famous characters. It can be writers or protagonists of one of their work. You can choose any writers or heroes, any period in History. You must memorize your text. Forbidden to use notes during the exam.
b. Students who make the 10 minutes movie will present their work on June 04. They will briefly present their subject before showing the movie to the class.
c. Power point presentation. Choose a book or an author to introduce. 15 minutes. 1 or 2 students together.
3. Final exam: written exam, test during the class, 1 hour (13:10-14:00) on June 11.
Behavior (don't be late or absent, don't cheat). Take this grade very seriously. If you are absent more than 4 times without excuse, you will be failed.
